Manny Anekal | Director of Brand Advertisement, Zynga

Manny AnekalManny oversees the development and sales of Brand Sponsorships for Zynga’s network of games.  He focuses on creating high impacting ad integrations, which provide immense ROI to brands through the reach of TV, the measurability of online, and the most engaging advertising products. Before joining Zynga, Manny ran Global Ad Operations for Electronic Arts, which managed advertising across online properties, in game dynamic and static ads for Xbox 360 and PS3, mobile and social networking. Prior to that, Manny spent 2 years at Microsoft/Massive Incorporated, developing new in game advertising technology and worked with the world’s top game publishers and developers to drive advertising revenue. Manny has also held positions at The Nielsen Company, Time Warner, and Accenture. Manny holds an International Finance and Marketing degree from the University of Miami and graduated with Honors.

Sinan Aral | Professor, NYU Stern School of Business

Sinan AralSinan Aral is an expert in measuring and managing how information diffusion in massive social networks affects information worker productivity, consumer demand and viral marketing. He frequently lectures about these topics and his research on the role of information and information technology in the productivity and performance of firms. He obtained his PhD in Information Systems from MIT and is a professor of Information, Operations and Management Sciences at the NYU Stern School of Business and affiliated faculty at MIT. He will be speaking on what drives social behavior.

Kevin Barenblat | CEO, Context Optional

Ethan Beard | Director, Facebook Developer Network

Ethan Beard serves as Director of the Facebook Developer Network, where he oversees worldwide developer relations and marketing for Facebook Platform and Facebook Connect. He previously served as Director of Business Development at Facebook and led the team responsible for creating and managing strategic partnerships. Ethan joined Facebook from Google, where he served as Director of Social Media and Director of New Business Development. Prior to Google, he spent several years as Director of Business Development for MTV Online. Earlier in his career, Ethan co-founded Big Internet Group, LLC and spent time structuring derivatives at Bank of America. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and an MBA from NYU Stern. Originally from New England, Ethan now resides in San Francisco with his wife and two children.

Adil Wali | Chief Experience Officer, Modcloth

Aldi WaldiBack in 2002, Adil Wali joined up with fellow CMU graduates Eric Koger and Susan Gregg Koger on ModCloth.com, an e-retailer of affordable independent designer fashion and décor. He went from being one of the first people to invest, to being the CTO overseeing employees in six countries, to becoming the CXO of an organization with over 150 people and three offices. Today, Adil spends all of his time working on reinventing the user experience for e-commerce and the supply chain for creative goods.
